A historic shift is underway in U.S. policy and global discourse regarding Judea and Samaria, as American leaders take a stand for truth and historical accuracy. For too long, false narratives have distorted the reality of Judea and Samaria. It is time to push back with facts.

On Feb. 25, 2024, U.S. Representative Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, directed staff to refer to Judea and Samaria—not the politically charged term “West Bank”—in all official correspondence.

U.S. Representative Brian Mast (R-FL), with Ross Glick, aka The Urban Warrior, says “Jewish roots in this region span centuries, and we must recognize that fact in both word and deed,” he wrote."

Mast’s action follows a bipartisan push led by Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who introduced bills requiring all official U.S. documents to use the historically accurate term “Judea and Samaria” instead of the misleading Jordanian-imposed name.

U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney (R-NY), with Ross Glick, who launched the Friends of Judea & Samaria Caucus in Congress, reaffirmed: “The Israeli people have an undeniable and indisputable historical and legal claim over Judea and Samaria.”

In Israel, Knesset Member Simcha Rothman introduced legislation, supported by Yossi Dagan, Governer of Samaria to eliminate the term “West Bank” from all Israeli government documents, stating:

“Semantics are important because through incorrect terminology, the lie wins. You have to describe reality correctly and tell the truth.”

Now is the time for bipartisan leaders to step forward and embrace the truth.

Ross Glick calls on Ritchie Torres (D-NY), Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Rep. —it’s time to make this a truly bipartisan effort and take a stand for justice and accuracy in U.S. policy.

Ross Glick was honored to attend the caucus’s inaugural launch in Washington, D.C., in January, where I engaged with Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY), Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX), and Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), among others. Their commitment to restoring historical accuracy and aligning American foreign policy with reality was inspiring. But to make this effort truly impactful, it must expand beyond party lines.

Why Ross Glick is Leading This Fight for B’nei Yisrael

B’nei Yisrael, destined to be dynamic and transformative movement, is committed to ensuring that historical accuracy in congress and on campuses, strategic policymaking, and strong U.S.-Israel relations shape the future.

Ross is actively leading this initiative to:

o   Mobilize bipartisan congressional support for Judea and Samaria.

o   Push for state-level caucuses to reinforce historical truth.

o   Engage independent voters and pro-Israel Democrats.

o   Counter anti-Israel propaganda on campuses targeting teachers and students.

As a passionate advocate for B’nei Yisrael and Independent voters, Ross sees a major opportunity for this caucus to grow into a force for truth and accountability—not just in Washington but at the state and local levels.

B’nei Yisrael is actively leading this initiative—to demand a principled, fact-based approach that unites Democrats, Republicans, and Independents in supporting Judea and Samaria’s rightful place in Israel’s history and future.

Too many Americans—especially younger generations—have been fed decades of misinformation about Israel’s history. Judea and Samaria are not occupied territories—they are the ancient heartland of the Jewish people, stolen, renamed, and falsely labeled to fit a political agenda.

This isn’t about partisanship—it’s about facts. B’nei Yisrael is mobilizing voters to push back against revisionist history and restore the truth. We need Democrats, Republicans, and Independents to unite on this issue and ensure that U.S. policy reflects reality—not Iran proxy propaganda.

Judea and Samaria were Jewish lands for thousands of years—before Jordan’s illegal occupation in 1948, when Jews were forcibly expelled and their homes taken.
Judea and Samaria were Jewish lands for thousands of years—before Jordan’s illegal occupation in 1948, when Jews were forcibly expelled and their homes taken.

One of the most egregious falsehoods spread about Judea and Samaria is that Israel’s rightful claim to these lands amounts to "ethnic cleansing." This is not just wrong—it’s dangerous.

Here’s the truth:

  • Israel reclaimed this land legally in 1967 after being attacked by Jordan, pushed into war and emerged victorious and in control of Jordan’s West Bank. There was no "Palestinian state" that Israel conquered—it was Jordanian-occupied land that was restored to Jewish hands.

  • Historical accuracy does not erase Arab presence—it acknowledges reality and sets the stage for practical, workable solutions that benefit all people in the region.

A Realistic Path Forward for Arabs in Judea & Samaria

Rather than fueling false accusations, the focus should be on real solutions. Any future framework must include financial compensation for property obtained and a structured economic plan to support those who choose to transition into new solutions.

This is how we build peace—not through lies, but through fairness and economic opportunity.

Expanding the Fight for Truth at the State & Local Levels

Beyond Washington, B’nei Yisrael are leading efforts to expand this movement to state and local governments, creating state-based caucuses that will educate governors, state legislatures, and municipal leaders on the reality of Judea and Samaria. The misinformation war must be fought on all fronts—not just in Congress, but in schools, city councils, and community organizations. The American Jewish community, particularly progressive and left-leaning Jews, has been misled by propaganda that distorts the true history of Israel. It’s time to reclaim our narrative.

Recognizing Judea & Samaria Act: A Step Toward Truth

Ross commends Sen. Tom Cotton and Rep. Claudia Tenney for reintroducing the "Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act," which will require the U.S. government to officially refer to these regions by their rightful names.

For too long, the term “West Bank”—imposed by Jordan in an attempt to erase Jewish history—has been used to delegitimize Israel’s claim. Israel’s legal rights to these lands are enshrined in binding international law, including:

The San Remo Resolution : (April 25, 1920) was a landmark decision by the Allied Powers following World War I, which legally recognized the historic and national rights of the Jewish people to reconstitute their homeland in Palestine. It incorporated the Balfour Declaration (1917) into international law and led to the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine (1922), affirming Jewish sovereignty over the land, including Judea and Samaria. This resolution remains a binding international legal precedent that confirms Israel’s rightful claim to these territories—not as "occupied land" but as legally and historically Jewish land.

The Mandate for Palestine : (1922) was a binding legal instrument issued by the League of Nations, granting Britain the responsibility to implement the Balfour Declaration and facilitate the establishment of a Jewish national home in the historic land of Israel. It reaffirmed Jewish legal rights to the land, including Judea and Samaria, and explicitly recognized the historical connection between the Jewish people and their ancestral homeland. The Mandate remains a critical legal foundation proving that Israel’s presence in these territories is not an "occupation" but rather the fulfillment of internationally recognized rights.

The UN Charter : (1945) is the founding document of the United Nations, establishing the principles of international law and state sovereignty. Article 80 of the Charter, often referred to as the "Jewish People's Clause," explicitly upholds the rights granted under pre-existing legal agreements, including the San Remo Resolution and the Mandate for Palestine. This means that Israel’s legal rights to Judea and Samaria—established under international law before the UN’s formation—remain valid and binding. The UN Charter reinforces Israel’s legitimacy and disproves false claims that these lands are illegally "occupied."

It’s time for the U.S. to stop enabling anti-Israel narratives and call these lands what they are: Judea and Samaria.

Join the Mission – The Time is Now

I urge all those who value truth, justice, and historical accuracy to stand with me in this fight. Whether you’re a policymaker, activist, student, or simply an engaged citizen, you can make a difference by:

Ross Glick is mobilizing a movement to restore historical truth, ensure that U.S. policy aligns with reality, and create a future where facts—not falsehoods—shape the global conversation on Israel.

Let’s build a future where truth prevails, historical accuracy is respected, and real solutions replace false narratives.
